6 Tools and applications used

a. We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. This service uses so-called “cookies” (see above). The information generated by cookies about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server and stored there.

Google uses this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

The storage of the cookies required by Google Analytics can be prevented by a corresponding setting in your browser software; however, this may lead to this. that you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as its transmission and processing by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

If you would like further information on the type, scope and purpose of the data collected by Google, we recommend that you read their privacy policy.

b. We also use Google Adwords to draw attention to our attractive offers and products with the help of advertisements on external websites. This tool also allows us to determine exactly how the individual advertising measures relate to specific campaigns. In this way, we pursue the interest of showing you customized advertising according to your interests and achieving a fair calculation of advertising costs in this context.

The advertisements displayed to you are placed by Google via so-called “ad servers”. For this purpose, we use ad server cookies, through which certain parameters, such as the display of ads or clicks by users, can be measured in order to determine the success of advertising campaigns. This works in such a way that in cases where you reach our website via a Google ad, Google Adwords stores a cookie in your browser, which generally loses its validity after 30 days. This cookie is not used to identify you personally, but to store the unique cookie ID, the number of ad impressions per placement, the last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information for analysis purposes.

We ourselves do not collect and process any personal data when using Google Adwords, but only receive statistical evaluations from Google, which we can use to determine which of the advertising campaigns we use are particularly effective.

In addition to the measures already described, you can prevent participation in this tracking process by deactivating cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com” or by permanently deactivating them in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin.

c. In addition, we use the Google Remarketing application, which is a process we use to address you even after you have left our website. In this context, we can show you our advertisements when you continue to use the Internet after visiting our website. This is done by means of cookies stored in your browser, which are used by Google to record and evaluate your usage behavior when you visit various websites.

For example, Google can determine your previous visit to our website, but according to Google, the processed personal data is pseudonymized during remarketing.

d. This website also uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Goo-gle. DoubleClick uses cookies to serve ads that are relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads more than once. Google uses a cookie ID to record which ads are displayed in which browser and can thus prevent them from being displayed more than once. In addition, DoubleClick can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions that are related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later visits the advertiser’s website with the same browser and buys something there. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain any personal information. In addition to the measures already described, you can prevent participation in this tracking process by deactivating cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com” or by permanently deactivating them in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin.

e. We use the services of Google Maps on our website. This allows us to display interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to use the map function conveniently.

By visiting our website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subsite of our website and the personal data listed under c. above. This takes place regardless of whether you are logged in via a Google account or not. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not wish to do so, you must log out of Google before using this service. Google uses your data for the purposes of advertising, market research and needs-based website design. You have the right to object to the use of your data in this regard, which you must address directly to Google.

Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection can be found in Google’s privacy policy at http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Google also processes your data in the USA and has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield

f. We also place links to other websites on our website; this is for information purposes only. These websites are not under our control and are therefore not covered by the provisions of this privacy policy. If you activate a link, it is possible that the operator of this website will collect data about you and process it in accordance with its privacy policy, which may differ from ours.

7. data transmission

Your data will not be transferred to third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so, the transfer of data is necessary for the execution of a contractual relationship concluded between us or you have previously expressly consented to the transfer of your data. External processors or other cooperation partners will only receive your data if this is necessary to process the contract or if we have a legitimate interest in doing so. If one of our processors comes into contact with your personal data, we ensure that they comply with the provisions of the data protection laws in the same way as we do.

Your personal data will not be sold or otherwise marketed by us to third parties outside the Group.

If our contractual partners or processors are based in a third country, i.e. a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we will inform you of the consequences of this circumstance in the description of the offer.
